Partner Channel Manager

FortifyData is looking for a Partner Channel Manager to win, onboard, maintain, and expand relationships with channel partners. This role will be responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator as well as an active listener who takes the time to comprehend what others say and then use the information they learn to create and build relationships, in order to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership. Their duties include interacting with new, existing and potential Partners on a regular basis and creating, maintaining and improving new and current partner relationships to enhance various sales channels.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Create a scalable Channel Partner management program that enables new partners to effectively sell and integrate FortifyData products
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactive sales and technology enablement
  • Crafting and implementing channel sales strategies to meet monthly sales quota
  • Ability to use analytical skills to analyze Key Performance Indicators to determine the health of a channel partner relationship.
  • Ability to use leadership and sales acumen to train and develop sales staff
  • Work closely with partners and product marketing teams to strategically deliver product training, assets, and collateral
  • Be a liaison between partners and internal Business Development, Product Management, Engineering and Sales teams
  • Negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective channel partners
  • Be responsible for success metrics and partner growth
  • Operate with little oversight, be an executor, and be able to drive excitement and growth across partners
  • Assist with partner recruiting
  • Developing and maintaining partner and prospective partner relationships through the use of Salesforce

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 5 + years Channel Sales experience and/or Sales/Partner Enablement experience, preferably with a successful track record of managing people and/or project teams
  • Technical background preferably in cyber security
  • Experience working with Executives and Senior leadership
  • Extremely high interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful record of leading organizational change. Passion for helping others succeed, especially in a sales-specific or business related function. Dedicated to helping other improve, find purpose in the day-to-day, and coaching others
